He was predeceased by: his parent Jerry Parie Hairston. He is survived by: his mother Adelaide Holt Hairston of Eden; his wife Glynis C. Hairston; his daughter Jakyse Green of Greensboro; his siblings, Earlean Hairston of Eden, Beatrice Champion of Greensboro, Jerry D. Hairston, Jr. of Eden, Corey Aiken (Triva) of Raleigh, Jonathan D. Hairston of Eden and Donald Russell of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Nyasia Haygood, Seth Green and Hashone Olverson, Jr.; his close friends, Andre Hairston of Eden and Tony Anderson of Eden; Karis Haygood. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives.
