Though Brenda Chavis may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cole L. Chavis and Beulah May Smith Chavis; her husband Charles Glenvor "Glen" Snyder; and her brother Garrison Ray Chavis. She is survived by: her siblings, Cole L. Chavis, Jr., Carol Chappell and Margaret Lindsey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Homes- Rockingham (705 S Caroline St, Rockingham, NC 28379). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Rockingham (201 N Randolph St, Rockingham, NC 28379).
