She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Thomas Thrower and Geneva Bostian Thrower; and her son Stephen Wayne Jenkins. She is survived by: her daughters, Charlotte A. Jenkins of Rockingham and Amy Benson of New Bern, N. C.; her sister Eleanor Sue Graves of Charleston, S. C.; and her aunt Edna Wheeler of Hamlet, N. C.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, as well as many other friends and family.
