He was predeceased by : his parents, John Preston Boswell, Sr. and Lillian Walker Boswell; his aunt Alice Lloyd Ivey; his uncles, Aubrey Ivey and Cecil Lloyd; and his siblings, John Preston Boswell, Jr., Janet Boswell Lee, Catherine Boswell and Nancy Carolyn Boswell.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Jo; and his sister Rachel Boswell Page.
