He was predeceased by : his parents, Irene Smith Dawkins and Woodrow Dawkins; and his siblings, Dorothy Totten, Joann Gaines, Oreta Cardwell and William Thomas Dawkins.
He is survived by : his siblings, Elouise Davis, Gracie Williams, Sheneva Booker (Alvin), Mattie Dawkins, Emily Ziglar (Clarence), Brenda Dawkins and Bishop Woodrow Dawkins; and his close friend Daryl Gaston. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
