It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Gibson Solomon of Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James Thomas; and her husband Miles D. "Junior" Solomon, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Myrtle Blue Gibson; her sons, Barry Solomon (Charlie) and Stephen Solomon (Patricia); her grandchildren, Jennifer Weatherly (Paul), Carla Rankin (Mitchell) and Loren Solomon; her great grandchildren, Hunter Smith, Addison Smith, Cassidy Weatherly, Bryson Solomon, Jordan Rankin and Chandler Rankin; and her sister Bobbie G. Jordan.
