It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Weldon Cannon of Rockingham, North Carolina, born in Andrews, South Carolina, who passed away on May 22, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Boss Cannon and Mary Norton Cannon; his wife Lucille Player Cannon; and his grandson Lee Outlaw, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Glenda Cannon Outlaw (Ricky) and Doris Ann King (Keith); his grandchildren, Bob Bryant, Kevin Rainwater, Marla Parker, Jeanna Cloninger, Jeremy Rainwater, Dori Ann Rainwater and Sabrina Friend; and his brother-in-law Eugene Player. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren.
