He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Leroy and Betty Althen Henry; and his siblings, Thomas Henry and Linda Bunn. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Kent, Matthew Henry, Elaine Sticklett (Jon), Darlene Brown (James), Jeremy Henry (Anna Henry) and Kara Miller (Tony Brewer); his grandchildren, Joshua Lisk (Emily Floyd), Kayla Lisk, Samantha Bumgarner Kailaya Miller (Ethan), Kyler Miller and Geno Stricklett; his great grandchildren, Liam Bumgarner, Brynlee Bumgarner, Macy Stricklett, Madison Stricklett, Geno Stricklett, Jr. and Emma Lisk; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Damien Ward and Sophie Floyd; and his siblings, Michael Henry, Paul Henry, Steven Henry and Susan Schwab.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Homes- Rockingham (705 S Caroline St, Rockingham, NC 28379). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Northam Cemetery (280 Northam Rd, Rockingham, NC 28379).
