Elizabeth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Jerry Brooks; and her pets, Kiska, Rusty and Indy. She is survived by: her husband Clay Carson; her mother Ann Randolph Brooks of Raleigh; her siblings, Celeste Brooks Perretti (Mark) of Wake Forest and Todd Brooks (Maureen) of Raleigh; her siblings' children, Meghan Brooks Sanger (Brett) of Raleigh, Erin Brooks Paul (Christopher) of Matthews, Natalie Brooks of Raleigh, Brooke Perretti of Charlotte and Thomas Perretti of Wake Forest; and her pets, Hendrix and Josie.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory (944 Old Knight Rd, Knightdale, NC 27545). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Eastside Cemetery (1500 Fayetteville Rd, Rockingham, NC 28379).
