She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Moyer and Celeste Hairston Saunders; her husbands, Stephen Hampton, Jr. and James Curtis Broadnax; her grandson Mikey Hampton; and her siblings, Faye Burgess, Alphonzo Hairston, Ray Saunders and Willie Saunders.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Galloway-Hampton of Eden, Joanne Jackson of Eden, Janet Hampton of Eden, Stephen Hampton of Eden, Jeffrey Hampton of Eden, Joey Hampton of Eden, Debra B. Price (DeForrest) of Eden, Diane Reese of Reidsville, Patricia Riddle of Reidsville and Tina Pickard of Greensboro; her sisters, Rita Parker of Atlanta and Linda Willis (Reggie) of Reidsville; her grandchildren, BJ (Tasha), Nikki, Dante' (Jacob), Tio, Kia, Kristen, Taryn, Devin and Mica; her great grandchildren, Ty-Leah, Shae of Khalil, DJ, Tyliek, NiJayla, Dumarius, Jayden, Tyquel, Jaelyn, Lanya, Olivia and Reign; her aunt Minnie Bohannon (Burton) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and her close friend Regina Martin-Reynolds of Eden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and many cherished friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunny Home Missionary Baptist Church (11178 NC-770, Eden, NC 27288). A burial was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at the Ridgeview Cemetery (1658 NC-135, Eden, NC 27288).
