It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn Speight of Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Glenn Speight to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Ashworth and Rosa Terry Speight; his wife Joyce Saunders Speight; his siblings, E. A., Jr., Brady (Charles Speight), Ruth Swails and Louise Covington (Nora Stone); and his son-in-law Gary Trexler.

He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Trexler, Joy Parnell (Harvel) and Marsha Stutts (Art); his grandchildren, Gary Trexler, Jr. (Michelle), Jennifer Stewart (Craig), Jessie Trexler, Kate Fisher (Taylor), Chris Parnell (Kaitlin), Hunter Stutts (Megan) and Grayson Stutts; and his great grandchildren, Jakob Trexler, Noah Trexler, Saylor Stewart, Colton Trexler, Averie Trexler and Millie Marshall Fisher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
