It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Norton of Rockingham, North Carolina, born in Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on May 28, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cicero Milton and Kathryn Jane Whitley Shayler; and her brothers, Fred Shayler and Thomas Shayler. She is survived by: her husband Ricky Norton of Rockingham; and her siblings-in-law, Ann Quick of Hamlet, Vanessa (Ricky Ashley) of Sanford, Don Norton of Hamlet, Damon Norton (Jennifer) of Clayton, Dean Smith (Amy) of Emerald Isle and Cindy Shayler Hamlet (Numerous).
