With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay Atkinson Holt of Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on April 7, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George W. Atkinson and Irene Yarborough Atkinson; and her husband George Holt. She is survived by : her daughters, Connie Harris (William), Donna Taylor (Chris), Rhonda Holt (Eric Barrington), Kathy Morgan (Jonathan) and Denaysia Holt (Taye Harrington); her sisters, Sylvia Raines and Carolyn William; and her grandchildren, Erica Harris, Linda Salcedo, Christopher Taylor, Jr., Ashley Holt, Stacey Strickland, Kevin Strickland, April Martin, Scot Skipper and Holly Dawkins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Watson-King Funeral Home (306 E Franklin St, Rockingham, NC 28379). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church (596 E Washington Street Extension, Rockingham, NC 28379).
