He was predeceased by: his parents, Lou Evy Turner Logan and Otis Logan; and his brother Larry Waddell Logan. He is survived by: his siblings, Sandra Kay Logan, Elton and Andrew; his children, Victoria Pruitt and Shivie Logan; his grandchild Ja'Vion Hairston; his siblings, Shirley Hayes, Shelby Hunter, Cynthia Martin, John Logan (Yolanda), William Logan (Leatrice) and Richard Logan (Nelda); his aunts, Elnora Johnson and Thelma Callands; and his close friends, Donald Johnson, Quint Slade, Danny Wilson and Patricia Hampton. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
