We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2023, at the age of 79, Lorenza Scales Sr. of Rockingham, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Beulah Reynolds Scales and James Bethel Scales, Sr.; and his sister Lina Lyons. He is survived by: his siblings, James B. Scales, Jr., Hubert Scales, Stanford Scales, Margaret Allen, Alberta Millner, Alma Staples and Gwendolyn Watt; his children, Lorenza Scales, Jr. (Chinita) and Selina Bethel (Eddie); his grandchildren, Rhontae Scales, Shanika Graves and Marcus Graves; and his brothers-in-law, Johnnie Allen and William Staples. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
