He is survived by: his children, Betty Parrish (David) of Wadesboro, Shelley Lampley (Richard) of Hamlet and Stephen Smith; his adoptive son Fred Pratt of Rockingham; and his grandchildren, Tori Kester of Rockingham and Karlee Rushing (Alec) of Hamlet.
