He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodell Brigman and Ethel Hilburn Brigman; his sons, Richard Brigman, Jr. and Rodney Brigman; and his siblings, Rodell Brigman, Jr., Doug Brigman, Kenneth Brigman, Buddy Brigman and Jerry Brigman.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Paxton Brigman; his children, Melissa Brigman, Shawn Paxton, David Brigman and Michael Brigman; his daughter-in-law Crystal Brigman; his grandchildren, Jace Paxton, Ty Paxton, Karah Brigman, Dustin Potter, Alyssa Brigman, Devin Brigman, Hayden Brigman, Justin Brigman, Austin Brigman, Haileigh Leviner and Kobe Herndon; his great grandchildren, Remmie Leviner, Emery Brigman and Creeden Brigman; and his siblings, Ronald Brigman, Jewel Oldham and Cheryl Myers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home (705 S Caroline St, Rockingham, NC 28379). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
