She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Dukes and Ruby Bennett Dukes; her former husband Foye Simmons; her husband Edward Hirsch; her daughter Rene Simmons; and her brother Larry Dukes.
She is survived by: her son Frankie Simmons (Gina Simmons).
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Richmond County Memorial Park (1717 E Broad Ave, Rockingham, NC 28379).
