It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Mullis Mills of Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Mullis and Louise Mullis; her husband William Lloyd Mills, Jr.; and her brother Ronnie Mullis. She is survived by: her children, Hayley Putnam (Benny) of Hamlet and Gray Mills (Karen) of Rockingham; and her grandchildren, Hannah, Becca Mills and Benjamin Putnam. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
