He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Defate Williams and Dorothy Luree Seigler Williams; his son Brandon Williams; his brother Frank; and his sister-in-law Josephine Williams.
He is survived by: his close friend Melvina Harris; his children, Terry Williams (Wendy) of Wadesboro, Brian Williams (April) of Chesterfield, SC, Jason Williams (Magan Honeycutt) of Wadesboro and Kimberly Williams (Derrek Tice) of Lilesville; his stepchildren, Bobbi Paxton (Freddie) of Lilesville, Kenneth Harris (Becky) of Ruby, SC and Jerri Harris of Morven; and his sister Mary Lou Black (Bobby) of Wadesboro. He is also survived by his 23 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
