It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Covington of Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Buck Covington and Sarah Covington. He is survived by: his wife Linda Covington; his children, Kim Covington (Daniel Thomas) and Keith Covington; his grandchildren, Logan Thomas, Colbie Covington and Molly Covington; and his sister Debbie Moorehead.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Watson-King Funeral Home - Rockingham (306 E Franklin St, Rockingham, NC 28380). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Richmond County Memorial Park (1717 E Broad Ave, Rockingham, NC 28379).
