He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gary Barringer, Richard Miller, Elaine Shute, Thomas and Sharon Nowicki.

He is survived by: his father Daniel Wood; his stepparents, Sherry Wood of Rockwell and David Shute of Rockwell; his sister O'Shannus Wood of Salisbury; and his grandparents, Vickie Cook of Rockwell, Brenda Barringer of Rockwell, Karen Miller of Anderson, SC and Roy Shute of West Union, SC. He is also survived by aunt, uncles, and many cousins there are many friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 1880 Rockwell Rd, Rockwell, NC 28138.
