He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Bell and Laura Foster Bell; his wives, Betty Jean Bell and Mary Ellen Bell; his children, Wade Bell, Anita Hall and Brandy Bridegroom; his grandchildren, Christopher Stephen and Sherry Schmidt; and his siblings, Judy Bell, Carvin "Bill" Bell, Marvin Bell and Orlin Bell.
He is survived by: his children, Rita Mason (John) of Crown Point, Indiana, Reba Crum (Rick), Craig Bell (Connie) of Griffith, Indiana, Phil Bridegroom (Cori) of Portage, Indiana, Renee Johnson (Billy) of Rockwell and Brandon Bell; his brother Harley Bell of Blue Ridge; his grandsons, Brian Bell, Steven Davis, Caleb Stage and Tim Contreras; his great grandchild Chris Stephen Jr.; his grandson-in-law John Bridegroom; John Smith. He is also survived by 87 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
