Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Jessie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alfred Brown and Walsie Elizabeth Billings Brown; and her husband Billy Z. Baker. She is survived by: her daughters, Monica Harwell (Scott) of Rockwell and Kimberly Elder (Bill) of Lakeland, FL. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the First Baptist Church (8630 Hillcrest Dr, Rockwell, NC 28138). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Mountlawn Memorial Park (196 Fan Key Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
