He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Davis Canaday, Sr. and Geneva Byrd Canaday. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Canaday; his children, Michael Canaday, Daniel Canaday, Johnathan Robinson, David Paxton (Emily) and Heather Canaday; and his siblings, Gay Green, Patricia Bragg and Wayne Glaze (Tammy). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
