It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Smith Prophet of Rockwell, North Carolina, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Benjamin Smith and Dorothy Starnes Smith. She is survived by : her daughters, Jamie Love, Jessica Campbell and Melissa Prophet; her sisters, Dale Newman and Loriella Lundberg; and her son James Prophet. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Salisbury Seventh Day Academy or a Public Library in Rowan County.
