As we bid adieu to Melanie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Melanie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She is survived by: her parents, Raymond Davis and Kaye Davis of Rockwell, NC; her children, Cristin Tuttle (Erik Taylor) of Concord, NC and Gage Cook (Melissa Truelove) of Raleigh, NC; her brother Tim Davis of Rockwell; and her granddaughter Emma Tuttle of Concord, NC..

In lieu of flowers, Melanie would love it if you made a donation to Humane society of Concord community pet food bank in her memory. And she would want me to tell you, always think of those pets that need our help the most, also the ones that are older or sick that just want to be loved a little bit longer.
