In loving memory of Sarah Irene Jeffreys (Rockwell, North Carolina), born in Stanley, North Carolina, who departed this world on May 31, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Dennis and Jeddi M. Chandler Dennis; her former husband Rev. George Jeffreys, Jr.; and her siblings, Jesse, Larry Dennis, Margarette Hicks, Ann Clark, Louise Burris and Helen Sasser.
She is survived by: her husband Lord; her children, Hilton Jeffreys (Amy) of Salem and Hope Jeffreys Lee (Chris) of Aulander, N. C.; her brother Bob Dennis (Barbara); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Puckett (Jake), Kyndal Jeffreys (Blake Miller), Caleb Jeffreys, Stephen Lee (Bethany) and Matthew Lee; and her great grandchild Hayes Puckett.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (8630 Hillcrest Dr, Rockwell, NC 28138). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (1601 S Colorado St, Salem, VA 24153).
