She is survived by: her son Michael Tolbert of Charlotte; her grandsons, Michael Tolbert, Jr. of Charlotte, Timothy Tolbert of Missouri and Steven Lageman of New York; and her great grandchildren, Jayden Tolbert and Telilah Tolbert.
