He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Homer Clay and Louise Clay; his wife Debra Clay; his daughters, Audrey Norwood (Earl) and Felisha Barbee (Jody); his grandchildren, Christopher Aistrop (Mikayla), Madeline Graves (Kayla), Emma Barbee, Kaylee Hahn and Bo Barbee; his great grandchildren, Addison Aistrop, McCoy Barbee and Alana Aistrop; and his brothers, Homer Clay Jr. (Wanda) and Dean Clay (Debbie). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkinson Funeral Home (100 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
