He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Walker and Novella Haynes Walker (Misenheimer); his wife Charlene Robins Jones Walker; his stepfather Fred Misenheimer; and his sister Barbara Ann Walker Goodman.
He is survived by: his children, Ryan Walker (Michelle) of China Grove, Travis Walker (Alisha) of Rockwell and Abby Doty (Jaret) of Rockwell; his brother Ronnie Walker (Pam) of Rockwell; and his grandchildren, Carson Walker, Kennedy Walker, Cooper Doty, Avery Doty, Landon Walker and Noah Walker.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the First Baptist Church (8630 Hillcrest Dr, Rockwell, NC 28138). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Brookhill Memorial Gardens (8625 US-52, Rockwell, NC 28138).
