William Lombard Yates Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Yates and Dorothy Lombard Yates; his son Billy Yates; and his sister Dottie Kearns. He is survived by: his wife Joan Yates; his children, Annette Reavis (Darrell) and Michael Yates (Sue); his grandchildren, Anna Lomax (Travis Cauble), Emily Yates (Tucker Meade), Brady Reavis (Taylor) and Mason Yates (Megan); and his great grandchildren, Alden Lomax, Noah Lomax, Beau Reavis and Vivian Reavis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Powles Staton Funeral Home (913 W Main St, Rockwell, NC 28138).
