He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bill, Rosa Walters, George and Mary Garris. He is survived by: his parents, Al Garris and Susie Garris; his children, Skylar Garris and Carson Garris; the mother of his children Genevieve; his brother Derek Garris of Rocky Mount; his nieces, Shyanne Mercer (Will) and Natalie Garris; and his nephew Alex Garris (Jase Garris). He is also survived by several aunts, uncle, cousins and other extended relatives.
