He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Prince Smith (Bruce) of Tarboro and Robbie Ann Prince of Tarboro; his siblings, Mildred Brady of Tarboro, Clara Worrell of Colonial Heights, Betty Hathaway of Tarboro, Joan Wooten of Tarboro and Howard Prince (Starr) of Greenville; and his grandchildren, Morgan Jones (Jason), Nicholas MacDonald, Matthew Smith, Allie Smith and Erin Grimes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family friends and other extended relatives.
