She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Arthur and Amine King Galbreath; her husband Philip Edgar Edwards; her brother Thomas Arthur Galbreath, Jr.; and her great grandchild Addison Edwards Morgan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Amine Edwards Morgan (John) of Newport News and Ruth Edwards Nicholson (Paul) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, John B. Morgan, III (Laura), Gray Nicholson Beard (Brian), Ellen Nicholson Ludwig (Jason) and Emily Nicholson Beaman (Patrick); her caregivers, Linda Flora, Laura Morris, Barbara Knight, Carolyn Williams, Gloria Graham, Amy Leonard, Tammy Leonard, Zoraida Nieves, Betty Croom and Ray Forbes; Amine.
