He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Manning and Mary Carter Manning; and his sisters, Shirley Gaither, Faye Etheridge and Rhonda Shearin.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Manning; his sons, Arnold Wayne Manning, Jr. (Mary) of Rocky Mount, Matthew Manning (Felicia) of Rocky Mount and Philip Manning (Stefanie) of Rocky Mount; his sister Thelma Morgan (Jeff) of Delaware; his close friends, Tim and Karen Cottrell; and his pet Precious. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other extended relatives.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Ridgecrest Worship Center (1120 West Mount Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27803). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
