She was predeceased by: her parents, William Esten Staley, Sr. and Sula Thomas Staley; her sister-in-law Ina Staley; and her brother Leo Staley. She is survived by: her husband Louis Jerome Taylor, Sr.; her children, Roxanne Taylor, Vickie Taylor and Louis Jerome "Jerry" Taylor, Jr. (Tammy); her grandchildren, John Taylor (Nicole), Ashley Ammons (Ira), Patrick Taylor (Brittany), Melanie Craft (Kevin) and Stephanie Taylor (Joshua); her siblings, William Staley, Jr. and Norma Ford (Lynn); and her sister-in-law Nancy Staley. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Barbara's memory to First United Methodist Church, 100 S. Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
