She was predeceased by: her mother Fannie Carthine Smith Boone; her husband Albert Mack Strickland, Sr.; and her sister Linda Boone Joyner. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Strickland Bullock (Mike) and Albert Mack Strickland, Jr. (Jessica); and her siblings, Brenda Sue Boone, Billy "Buck" Boone, Randy Boone and Roger Boone. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (661 English Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Service (661 English Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Forset Hill Cemetery (350 N 1st St, Nashville, NC 27856).
