We are sad to announce that, on January 9, 2026, at the age of 76, Belinda Arrington Carter (Rocky Mount, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Bryant Anthony Arrington and Judy Leith Wimbish; and her father Albert Bryant. She is survived by: her husband David Wayne Carter; her daughters, Heather Marie Boussios (John Boussios) of Raleigh and Marianne Carter-Maschal (Ben Maschal) of Chapel Hill; her grandchildren, Eli, Sophia, Noah, Teddy, Remy, Olin and Alma; and her mother Mattie Vivian Lane Arrington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in Belinda's memory to Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Triangle or Down East Partnership for Children.
