It is with sadness that the passing of Blake William Tharin (Rocky Mount, North Carolina) is shared. Blake, born on March 5, 1941, passed away on July 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dhu Tharin and Gwendolyn Younge Tharin; and his brother Carl Tharin. He is survived by: his wife Linda James Tharin; his sons, James Tharin (Kate) and John Tharin (Bethany); his grandchildren, Gracie Byrd (Robin), Will and Frances Tharin; and his sister-in-law Jean McNeill. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Blake's memory to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 301 S. Circle Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
