She was predeceased by: her parents, James Grady Moore and Gertrude Matthews Moore; and her siblings, Carl Moore, Carson Moore and Mary Elizabeth Heath.

She is survived by: her husband Kenneth "Ken" Overton, Jr.; her daughter Sherri Harrell Lewis; her grandson Austin Drake Turner; her great grandchildren, Wade Robert Turner and Arya Lynn Turner; and her siblings, Billy Moore (Kay), Mac Moore (Joann), Robert Moore (Lori), Randy Moore (Pauline), Danny Moore and Virginia Heath. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
