She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmie C. Rooks; and her sisters, Phillis Barnes and Peggy Ann Pridgen. She is survived by: her daughter Kim Edwards (Rod) of Chicago, Illinois; and her sister Sandra Pridgen of Spring Hope.
