Charles Tanner Zuidema Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Tanner Zuidema (Rocky Mount, North Carolina), who passed away on July 25, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles M. Zuidema and Estell Jolley Eggleston; his wife Fannie Zuidema; his brother Malcolm Zuidema; his aunt Emily; and his brother-in-law George Pridgen.

He is survived by: his siblings, Carl Zuidema, Carol Tessier and Johanna Houssani; his siblings-in-law, Peggy Conway of Battleboro, Edith Reaves (Bobby) of Kinston and Earl Pridgen (Tennie) of Rocky Mount; his niece Hope Jones (Robert) of Rocky Mount; his nephews, Dwayne Pridgen (Beth) of Wendell Falls and Johnie Pridgen (Janet) of Rocky Mount; his great-nephew Tyler Jones of Wilmington; his close friends, Ellsworth Darrell and George Harris; and his caregiver Wendy Mayo.
