With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christine Wells Daughtridge (Rocky Mount, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Wells and Molly Davenport Wells; her husband George Jasper Daughtridge; and her son Marvin Earl Daughtridge. She is survived by: her children, Allan Daughtridge, Doris Wadsworth, June Lee (Ronnie) and Bruce Daughtridge (Marina); and her grandchildren, Chris Cockrell, Shawn Adams, Jason Daughtridge, Michael Daughtridge, Keith Coley (Heidi), Kevin Coley, Eve Nemitz (Ryan), Tim Horst (Maranda), Amanda Cruz (Josh), Karena Velasco (Benex), Celena Gaston (Cory), Emma Daughtridge and Josie Daughtridge. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (661 English Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Services (661 English Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A burial was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rocky Mount Memorial Park (4454 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804).
