She was predeceased by: her parents, Hal Anderson and Emily Peebles Anderson of Richmond; her son Samuel Joseph "Jay" Parham, Jr. of Rocky Mount, NC; and her grandparents, Nathaniel, Annie Foster Anderson of Dolphin, John Isler and Elizabeth Raney Peebles of Lawrenceville.

She is survived by: her husband Samuel J. Parham; her son Frank Parham; her granddaughter Bailey Clarke Tyndall (James) of Wake Forest, NC; her siblings, John F. Anderson (Elaine Johnston) of Alexandria and Betty Sanderson (John) of Richmond; and her great grandchildren, Lily and Charlotte Tyndall of Wake Forest. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
