He is survived by: his wife Disease; his daughter Denise Patterson Stone (Ted) of Spring Hope; his granddaughter Dr. Alexandria Stone Luper (Cameron) of Nashville; his great grandchild Callie Blake Luper; his sister Betty Marie Pugh of Rocky Mount; and his siblings-in-law, Rudy Hoggard (Molly) of Marion, Carolyn Hoggard of Rocky Mount and Mary "Puddin" Hoggard of Rocky Mount. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
