With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clifton Barnes of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, born in Lucama, North Carolina, who passed away on January 6, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clenon Barnes and Daisy Holland Barnes; and his siblings, Vetris Barnes, Eunice Barnes, Dorothy Bass, Christopher Barnes, Paul Barnes and Amos Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Ramona Lamm Barnes; his children, Cathy Pirko (Charles) of Lancaster, PA., Pam Umberger of Wilson and Bryan Barnes of Lucama; his grandchildren, Jamison Pirko, Whitney Umberger, Casey Sink (Evan), Alexandra Pirko, Andrew Barnes (Faire), Sydney Barnes and Holden Pirko; and his great grandchildren, Paxton Sink and Addison Sink.
