He was predeceased by: his father William M. Staton. He is survived by: his son Quadric Eason of Waco, TX; his stepdaughters, Katherine R. Gorham of Greenville, NC and Easter D. Gorham of Charlotte, NC; his siblings, Willie N. Staton of Tarboro, NC, Bernard Staton of Edison, NJ, Cora Heath of Brooklyn, NY, Mary Brown, Bessie Tillman, Ora Dickens of Rocky Mount, NC, Carolyn Rhodes of Newark, NJ and Phyllis Lane of Tarboro, NC; and his close friend Sarah Crandell. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
