David Carpenter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Carpenter (Rocky Mount, North Carolina), who passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Winslow Carpenter and Annie Rea Carpenter; and his brother Charlie Ray Carpenter. He is survived by: his brothers, Marvin Carpenter (JoAnne), Dennis Carpenter (Joy) and Jack Carpenter (Cathy); his nieces and nephews, Clancy Carter (Shane), Blair Carpenter (Amanda), Ryan, Chad Carpenter, Ashley Ezzell (Mike) and Shannon Brown (Greg); Cheyenne Carter, Cari, Rai'lah, Paige Brown, Kaylee Carpenter, Logan Carpenter, Rocky Carter, Gavin Carpenter, Austin Brown, Isaac Carpenter, Hannah Carpenter, Jessica Proctor and Victoria Proctor. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
