With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deborah Turner (Rocky Mount, North Carolina), who passed away on October 15, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Deborah departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Deborah. Though Deborah may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Earl and Lucille Neville Henry; her husband Joseph "Cecil" Turner; and her siblings, Billy Henry, Lorraine Sykes, Annette Patterson and Catherine Walston.
She is survived by: her daughter Miranda Turner of Tarboro; her grandson Ramsey Raines; her sister Linda Batchelor of Nashville; and her daughter Tammy Asay (Kevin) of Indiana. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family friends and other extended relatives.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Davis-Little Funerals (2129 Lawrence Cir, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
